The CAMC Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center has been providing the Athletic Training and Medical coverage to the high schools in the Kanawha Valley since 1991. Currently we are providing coverage for Capital, George Washington, Herbert Hoover, Nitro, South Charleston, and Riverside High Schools for football and girls & boys basketball. We have been providing coverage for all Kanawha County High Schools for girls and boys soccer since 2004. We are also able to provide coverage for other events with proper notice to arrange coverage.

We have been providing the Athletic Training and Medical coverage for all the WVSSAC state tournaments held in Charleston since 1991. These events in 2007 included volleyball, cheerleading, girls and boys basketball, girls and boys track & field, girls and boys tennis, and baseball.

All of our Athletic Trainers are certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association, which ensures the highest quality of care and professionalism from our staff.

Through our outreach activities we provide free injury assessments for youth ages 18 and under for Kanawha and all surrounding counties every day. Please call us at 388-4900 to schedule an appointment. We also provide a free injury clinic for youth ages 18 and under every Saturday morning from the last weekend in August through the first weekend in November.
