Yes, you will need a referral from a doctor or other qualified medical specialist to attend therapy.  We accept referrals from primary care physicians, orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, general surgeons, plastic surgeons, rheumatologists, chiropractors, podiatrists and other medical specialists (such as Nurse Practitioners & Physician Assistants).  The CAMC Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Center also offers a free injury screen for scholastic athletes.  Please call our Center for more information regarding this screen.
